  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Fish: In a bowl, combine vinegar, peri peri seasoning, ginger garlic paste, salt, and black pepper. Add the cubed fish pieces and toss until they are evenly coated with the marinade. Set aside for at least 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  2. Prepare the Coating: In one bowl, mix together the panko breadcrumbs, all-purpose flour, and dried parsley. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and milk together until smooth and well combined.
  3. Coat the Fish: Take each marinated fish cube and dip it first into the egg and milk mixture, then roll it generously in the panko breadcrumb mixture to ensure an even and crispy coating.
  4. Cook the Nuggets: Choose your preferred cooking method:
    • Baking: Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Arrange the coated fish nuggets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-18 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.
