Roasted Salmon Caesar Recipe

5.2 from 8 reviews

This Roasted Salmon Caesar recipe features tender, perfectly cooked salmon filets topped with a creamy Caesar-inspired sauce made from mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. It’s an easy and flavorful dish that combines the richness of salmon with the classic flavors of Caesar salad dressing, finished with a lightly browned crust for extra texture.

Ingredients

Scale

Salmon

  • 4 salmon filets (6 ounces each)

Caesar Sauce

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for sprinkling
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
  2. Prepare Salmon: Place the salmon filets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
  3. Make Sauce: In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Stir well until all ingredients are fully blended into a creamy sauce.
  4. Apply Sauce: Spread the Caesar sauce evenly over the top of each salmon filet, covering the entire surface. Sprinkle an additional little Parmesan cheese over each piece for extra flavor and crust formation.
  5. Roast Salmon: Roast the salmon in the preheated oven. For medium-rare to medium, cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 125 to 135 degrees F (52 to 57 degrees C) measured with a digital thermometer. For well done salmon, roast for 14 to 16 minutes or until it reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
  6. Add Browning Crust: For a lightly browned and crispy crust, place the baking sheet under the oven broiler for the last minute of roasting time. Watch closely to prevent burning.
  7. Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and transfer to serving plates. Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley or Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • Use fresh salmon filets for best flavor and texture.
  • Adjust roasting time based on thickness of salmon and desired doneness.
  • Use a digital meat thermometer for accurate internal temperature.
  • Broil carefully as the sauce can brown quickly under high heat.
  • Pairs well with a simple green salad or roasted vegetables.
  • Can substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise for a lighter sauce variation.
