Peeps and Marshmallow Mixture
- 8 (1.38-ounce) PEEPS Rainbow pops (4 colors of Peeps: pink, blue, green & yellow)
- 2 cups mini marshmallows, divided into four ½-cup portions
- ¾ cup salted butter, room temperature, divided into four 3-tablespoon portions
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided into four ½-teaspoon portions

- 8 cups Rice Krispies cereal, divided into four 2-cup portions
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan and Ingredients: Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with baking spray and set aside. Remove the Peeps from their lollipop sticks and sort the Peeps by color. Have four medium-sized microwave-safe bowls ready to prepare each colored batch separately.
- Melt Marshmallow Mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine ½ cup mini marshmallows, 3 tablespoons butter, and the Peeps of one color (e.g., all green Peeps). Microwave on high for 45 seconds to 1 minute until melted and smooth. Stir in ½ teaspoon vanilla extract to combine.
- Mix in Cereal: Fold in 2 cups of Rice Krispies cereal into the melted marshmallow mixture, stirring until all the cereal is evenly coated.
- Layer the Mixture: Transfer the colored marshmallow-cereal mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it into an even layer. Gently press down with your hands to compact the layer. Repeat steps 2-4 for each Peeps color, layering each subsequent color on top of the previous layer.

- Work quickly when mixing each batch as the marshmallow mixture sets fast.
