4.6 from 122 reviews

This Marshmallow Swirl Fudge is a decadent, creamy treat featuring rich semi-sweet chocolate with beautiful swirls of fluffy marshmallow cream. Perfectly smooth and luscious, this no-bake fudge is easy to make and ideal for gifting or indulging yourself. The marshmallow fluff creates eye-catching ribbons throughout the fudge without melting away, adding a fun texture and sweetness contrast.

Ingredients

Scale

Fudge Base

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

Swirl

  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff (or marshmallow cream)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and melted butter. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  2. Add the vanilla and salt. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt until everything is well combined.
  3. Pour into the pan. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Pour the melted chocolate fudge mixture into the dish and spread it out evenly.
  4. Add the marshmallow swirl. Spoon the marshmallow fluff evenly over the fudge, then use a knife to gently drag through the marshmallow and fudge to create thick, visible swirls. Avoid overmixing to keep the swirls distinct.
  5. Chill and set. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until it is firm and set completely.
  6. Cut and serve. Once the fudge is firm, lift it out using the parchment paper, cut into squares with a sharp knife, and enjoy your marshmallow swirl fudge!

Notes

  • Use marshmallow fluff, not mini marshmallows, to maintain creamy, smooth swirls.
  • Do not overmix the marshmallow swirl; this keeps the ribbons thick and visually appealing.
  • Chill the fudge for at least 2 hours for clean cutting and perfect texture.
  • For a s’mores twist, sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top before chilling.
  • If desired, lightly torch the marshmallow top after swirling for a toasted marshmallow flavor.
  • Dairy-free option: use dairy-free chocolate and coconut condensed milk.
  • For extra chocolate richness, stir in ½ cup chopped dark chocolate before swirling.
  • Add texture by mixing in crushed cookies or chopped nuts.
  • For a graham cracker crust, press crushed graham crackers in the bottom of the pan before pouring the fudge mixture.
